Ingredients
- 1-inch piece of ginger (grated or sliced)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cups warm water
Instructions
Get your ingredients ready by squeezing the juice from half a lemon and grating or thinly slicing your fresh ginger.
Warm your water gently. It should be hot enough to steep, but not boiling.
Add the lemon juice and ginger to the warm water and give it a good stir.
Stir in the honey until it melts right in.
Let it sit for about 5 minutes to let the flavors come together. You can strain out the ginger pieces if you prefer a smoother drink.
